Google Chrome Portable
For those of you who are still hangin’ on to the Google Chrome bandwagon, you’ll be happy to know that Chrome has gone portable, which means you can add it to your favorite USB drive along side Firefox 3 Portable. This is a perfect option if you don’t want to install Chrome on your machine, but do want to take it for a little test drive. Or maybe you’re just hanging out in seedy internet cafés, and want to ensure that you don’t leave any sensitive information behind in your browser history.
Portable Chrome offers all of the same features that the original Chrome boasts (very fast JavaScript engine, incognito mode, etc.) and installs to your USB drive via a self extracting .exe file. Double click the .exe file, and tell it where to extract to (your USB drive of course). Simple as that.
Which portable browser do you prefer? Let us know in the comments!

Although Google Chrome is very basic & simple, but that’s I want. I am finding Firefox & IE to be slower than before. It’s a great alternative.

Yes, by all accounts, Google Chrome runs a bit faster than even the already speedy Firefox 3. Since Chrome is now out of Beta, i’d expect to see a few more features and add-ons become available, much like Firefox has.

Firefox 3 all the way for me. Chrome can’t match Firefox’s flexibility yet. I hear Chrome is rumored to support plugins/addons in the future though…
